The L&D Specialist role will be responsible for supporting, developing and delivering a suite of L&D initiatives that enable people to develop in line with organisational needs and their own aspirations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of a suite of value-adding and impactful L&D interventions.
  • Fully understand and provide guidance on the regulatory factors in relation to service area requirements and employment regulations.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the group, providing advice, support and guidance across the full scope of L&D responsibilities.
  • Support the accurate and timely reporting of L&D activity and organisational impacts and outcomes, in line with reporting requirements and represent the L&D function at relevant meetings.
  • Own and develop relevant L&D Policies, Procedures and Practice.
Skills and Qualifications
  • A full current driving licence and access to a car. Business insurance will be a requirement for this post.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable as the role will involve working at various locations across Ireland and involve evening and weekends as required.
  • Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Human Resources or Health & Social Care or a related discipline,
  • and 1 years’ experience working in Training or Education or Learning and Development or,
  • Organisational Development or Human Resources or,
  • 2 years’ experience working in Training or Learning and Development,
  • or Organisational Development or Human Resources.
  • Proven experience of developing high levels of credibility with delegates and customers.
  • Strong IT skills, including use of AI, SharePoint, MS Forms, MS Teams, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and prioritising workload to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Experience of designing and delivering high-quality training programmes.
