Jason Court is a registered care service offering expert nursing care and support for up to 59 residents. We specialise in caring for individuals with physical disabilities, mental health needs, and acquired brain injuries.

The Role

The role of Registered Nurse in our Mental Health services is a pivotal role in providing specialised care and support to residents with mental health needs, promoting wellbeing and enhancing their quality of life. The Registered Nurse is a leadership role, you will play a vital part in managing the care of our residents and providing high‑quality person‑centred care. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans tailored to the individual needs of our residents.

The role is always evolving and having a commitment to personal and professional development will ensure that you are able to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Adopt a systemic, individual approach to all resident care plans and communicate the outcomes to the team both verbally and in writing, ensuring all risk assessment documentation is kept up to date.
  • Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to resident care.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Unit Manager.
  • Support and supervise new staff.
  • Manage the assessment, implementation and evaluation of individual patient care plans while promoting a professional working environment to ensure a high standard of resident care.

  • Minimum of 6 months mental health nursing experience
