About Us

Carrik Care is a leading healthcare staffing agency supplying nurses and healthcare professionals to nursing homes and NHS Trusts across Northern Ireland. We pride ourselves on reliability, compliance, and building long-term relationships with both our clients and staff.

We are now seeking an organised, proactive Booking Coordinator to join our operations team and support the day-to-day coordination of staff bookings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily and weekly shift bookings for nurses and healthcare assistants
  • Liaise with clients (nursing homes, hospitals, trusts) to confirm staffing requirements
  • Allocate shifts efficiently while ensuring compliance with working time regulations
  • Communicate bookings clearly to staff via phone, email, and internal systems
  • Maintain accurate records of rotas, bookings, cancellations, and amendments
  • Handle last-minute cover requests and urgent staffing needs professionally
  • Work closely with payroll and compliance teams to ensure accurate timesheets and payments
  • Resolve booking queries and issues promptly and professionally
  • Ensure high standards of customer service to both clients and staff
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in a booking, scheduling, recruitment, or coordination role (healthcare preferred)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using IT systems, CRM/booking software, email, and Microsoft Office
  • Professional, reliable, and solution-focused approach
Desirable (but not essential)
  • Knowledge of NHS, nursing home, or healthcare compliance processes
  • Familiarity with timesheets, payroll cut-offs, or rota systems
