Paediatric Nurse with a Specialist interest in Bone Marrow Transplantation
The main purpose of this role is to act as a practitioner providing expert care, treatment, co‑ordination and support for patients who have received bone marrow/stem cell transplants. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to advancing the body of knowledge through education, research and audit as well as developing practice in others with regard to this patient group.
They will work within the multi‑professional team in order to ensure a seamless, coordinated approach to the care and timely onward referral to other professionals and agencies as appropriate, working across service boundaries in Haematology/Oncology services.

- Within a nurse provided service, undertake a person‑centred holistic approach to assess the physical, emotional, psychological, social and spiritual needs and the development of appropriate plans of care and appropriate onward referral.
- Be a registered nurse on Part 1 (Child) of the NMC Register.
- Be in possession of external oncology training.
