Management Accountant

Artemis Human Capital is partnering with a leading FMCG company to recruit a Management Accountant for one of their key sites. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role combines management accounting responsibilities with system enhancements and process improvement initiatives. Its an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys producing insightful management reports while contributing to finance system development and automation.

Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate weekly and monthly management accounts, including variance and margin analysis Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning cycles Assist with year-end statutory accounts and audit queries Perform and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations Collaborate with site teams to drive operational and financial performance improvements Provide broader finance support, including credit control and AR cover as needed Contribute to finance transformation and system automation projects Enhance workflows, internal controls, and reporting outputs Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI) About You Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Advanced Excel skills Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills Confident communicator at all levels of the business Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail

Experience with reporting tools is highly desirable
