Payroll Specialist

Seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support a B-Corp tech business on a 4–6 month contract, supporting the business through a period of change. This role will manage the monthly payroll and requires someone who can start immediately. The position is fully remote.

• Process monthly payroll, including starter and leaver adjustments, pension contributions, salary sacrifice, tax code changes, and other payroll updates.
• Issue payslips and P45s and ensure payroll records are maintained accurately.
• Submit FPS/EPS to HMRC and run P32 reports.
• Compile and submit P11

• Prepare payroll journals for upload into the Net Suite finance system.
• Perform payroll reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Act as the first point of contact for employee payroll queries.

• Previous experience in a payroll administration or manager role.
• Essential:
  Experience using Zone Payroll (formerly Infinet).
• Strong understanding of UK payroll processes and HMRC submissions.
• High attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines.
