Financial Controller - £55000 - £60000 per annum – Belfast Your new role

As Financial Controller, you will report to the Senior Manager and take ownership of building a high‑performing accounting team. You will lead on financial controls, statutory compliance, monthly reporting cycles, budgeting, forecasting and payroll oversight.

A key focus of your role will be driving process improvement, strengthening the control environment, supporting leaders with financial insight, challenging variances and ensuring the accuracy of financial records across multiple entities. You will also play a central role in shaping financial policies, supporting business growth and embedding a culture aligned to company values. What you'll need to succeed A recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and a degree-level education At least 4 years’ relevant financial experience, operating at a fully competent level Experience leading or supervising a small team Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with statutory, compliance and tax requirements Ability to develop and maintain financial controls, drive process improvement and interpret key financial indicators Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills A collaborative approach with the ability to partner with the business, challenge stakeholders and deliver high‑quality financial reporting A commitment to continuous improvement, integrity, customer focus and positive team culture What you'll get in return
