Audit Senior – Independent Firm – Manchester City Centre Your new company We’re working in partnership with a highly respected independent accountancy firm based in Manchester city centre, currently seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified auditor looking to step into a client-facing role with real autonomy, variety, and progression potential.

Your new role As Audit Senior, you’ll be responsible for leading audit assignments across a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from SMEs to larger corporates. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and have direct access to partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning, executing, and completing audit assignments. Supervising and mentoring junior team members. Preparing financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP. Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact. Identifying risk areas and providing practical solutions. Supporting the wider team with ad hoc advisory and assurance projects. What you'll need to succeed ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist. Minimum 3 years’ audit experience within UK practice.

Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Able to manage multiple deadlines and client expectations.
