As Finance Officer, you will help maintain the organisation’s financial systems and records, ensuring financial information is accurate, well managed and delivered on time.

Working closely with the Senior Finance Officer and wider Finance team, you will support key financial processes including invoicing, reconciliations, reporting and financial administration.

This role is based at Lombard House, with hybrid working available, including anchor office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays The Key function of the role is to Maintenance of Integra records including invoicing, journaling, account management. Working with the team to ensure completion of all month end tasks including account and balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing and processing monthly sales invoices accurately and on time
  • Maintaining and reconciling accounts within the Integra financial system
  • Allocating receipts and payments to the appropriate accounts
  • Completing monthly account and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing and posting journals within financial systems
  • Assisting with credit control activities across the organisation
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly departmental financial reports
  • Managing finance queries from internal and external stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
  • A qualification in a business / accountancy equivalent to Accounting Technician (or above) AND one years’ experience working in a Finance function;

    OR
  • Two years’ experience working in a finance function
  • Experience of Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level or above
  • Proven experience of reconciling accounts
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritise workload to ensure effective and timely outcomes
  • Ability to use initiative and work with minimum direction
