Financial Controller; FD

Artemis Human Capital has partnered exclusively with a high-growth healthcare business to recruit a seasoned Financial Controller to join its senior leadership team.

This appointment comes at a pivotal time as the business continues to scale operations and expand services across the island of Ireland. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Financial Controller will take ownership of the finance function, providing strong financial leadership, improving reporting capability, and ensuring the business is equipped with the financial insight needed to support continued growth.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller seeking a role with real influence at leadership level and a clear pathway to progress into a Finance Director position as the organisation continues to expand.

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning process to support strategic decision-making and business growth
• Produce accurate and insightful monthly management accounts alongside statutory reporting and audit coordination across ROI and the UK
• Undertake a hands‑on role in the day‑to‑day finance function while also contributing at a strategic level
• Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks and reporting standards within a regulated environment
• Enhance financial systems, processes and reporting capability to support the next phase of growth
• Provide commercial insight and detailed financial analysis to support operational and executive decision‑making

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience operating as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader, ideally within a scaling organisation
• Strong commercial awareness with demonstrable experience in budgeting, financial planning and analysis
• Experience preparing board‑level reporting
• Knowledge of financial reporting requirements across both ROI and the UK
• Exposure to multi‑site or cross‑border operations would be highly advantageous
