Accounts Assistant Reporting To:
Company Accountant
Location:
Carryduff, Co. Down.
Hours:
40hrs per week, Monday Friday. Fraser Homes, one of Northern Irelands best known house builders, has an extensive portfolio of sites in greater
Belfast, Saintfield, Carryduff, Newtownards, and Larne.
Key Activities:
Process bi-annual ground rent invoices and accurately post receipts using Sage, ensuring correct ledger allocation. Reconcile bank receipts and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Respond to invoice, payment, and receipt queries by phone and email, providing clear and timely resolutions. Prepare monthly debt, arrears, and aged debtor reports; issue payment reminders and follow up outstanding balances. Track sales deposits and record transactions in line with internal controls.
Complete and maintain financial documentation relating to property sales, including CML forms and completion data. Liaise with solicitors to obtain required financial and contractual information and ensure records are complete. Assist with company insurance renewals. Maintain plant and asset registers, including acquisitions, disposals, and asset movements. Support audit and compliance requirements by maintaining organised financial records and documentation. Provide general accounts and administrative support to senior management as required.

Essential Criteria : 4 years experience in a similar industry role. Proficient in Sage Line 50/Sage 200/Sage MMS and Excel. Excellent communicator with strong organisational and multi-tasking skills. Self-motivated and able to work to strict deadlines with limited supervision.
