Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established professional services firm based in East Belfast. Our client is a respected Practice supporting both commercial and private clients across Northern Ireland, delivering advisory services across a broad range of specialist areas. Due to continued operational needs, they are seeking an Accounts Assistant to work 4 days per week, supporting the finance function and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of accounts operations. This role will suit an organised and reliable finance professional who enjoys working in a structured office setting and being part of a close-knit team. The Role Working closely with the finance lead, you will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring finance processes operate efficiently. You will play a key part in transactional processing while also supporting periodic reporting tasks. The role offers a balance of purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliation duties within a professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities Process supplier invoices and assist with payment preparation Support client invoicing and allocate receipts accurately Carry out regular bank reconciliations and oversee petty cash Maintain up-to-date purchase and sales ledgers Assist with month-end routines and supporting documentation Maintain organised financial records and filing systems Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries About You You will be detail-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in an office-based role.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively across a 4-day schedule will be important. Experience & Background Essential Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role Good working knowledge of Excel Experience using accounting software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Professional and confident communication skills
