Interim Chief Accountant - High Growth FMCG - London Your New Company Join a UK distribution business, part of a well‑established international consumer group, which is entering a significant growth phase and appointing a senior finance leader to join its executive team. Your new role This role holds full ownership of the UK financial business, acting as the strategic and commercial partner to the Managing Director while safeguarding financial integrity, governance, and long‑term value creation.

Executive‑level accountability for P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and financial strategy Key voice on the UK leadership team, shaping commercial and operational decisions Lead long‑term planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management Own governance, controls, banking relationships and statutory compliance Drive working‑capital discipline in a fast‑moving, cash‑intensive trading environment What You'll Need To Succeed ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified 10–15 years’ experience in FMCG, beverages, or complex trading environments Proven track record of commercial business partnering at senior level Strong expertise in UK regulatory, tax and compliance frameworks Confident, credible leader with the ability to challenge and influence executives What You'll Get In Return This is a rare opportunity to step into a true No.1 UK finance role with direct influence over strategy, growth and value creation, within a well‑capitalised and entrepreneurial environment.
