This is an 18 month fixed-term, engagement offering the opportunity to shape the finance function, strengthen governance, and support rapid UK and international growth. Competitive package Fractional fixed-term contract Hybrid working 24 days holiday plus statutory holidays Additional birthday leave Pension contribution Private medical cover About You Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Proven experience at Finance Director or similar senior finance level Strong background in multi-entity and multi-currency environments Highly analytical with a strong focus on cash flow and cash burn Confident reviewing contracts and managing financial risk Advanced Excel skills Comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling business Your Role Always Own monthly management accounts and Board reporting Maintain strong financial controls and governance Lead budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term financial planning Provide clear insight on performance and variances Often Partner with senior leadership on strategic decisions Mentor and develop the Financial Controller Drive cost control and continuous improvement Oversee cash flow, payments, payroll, and compliance Occasionally Support audits and R&D tax credit processes Review customer contracts and highlight risk Oversee specialist financial areas with external advisors Get involved in ad hoc projects as the business grows Never Sign off spend without understanding it Teach your cat to do your job Interested?
