Senior Finance Officer - Belfast Make a Real Impact with Your Finance Skills This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, values-led healthcare organisation that plays a vital role in supporting individuals and communities across the UK and Ireland. They are now seeking a Senior Finance Officer to join their Head Office finance team. This is a key role within the business, offering responsibility, variety, and the chance to make a meaningful contribution within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a central role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust financial controls across the business. You'll be hands-on with the purchase ledger, general ledger, reconciliations, cashflow and month-end processes , while also supporting junior team members and working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities Managing cash books, payments and monthly bank reconciliations Overseeing purchase ledger processes, supplier payments and reconciliations Maintaining the general ledger, including fixed assets Supporting monthly balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close Preparing weekly and monthly cashflow forecasts Assisting with audit preparation and financial reporting Supporting and guiding team members within the finance function About You You'll be an experienced finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You'll ideally have: A recognised finance qualification (IATI / part-qualified accountant or equivalent) or significant hands-on experience At least 2 years' experience in a finance role Experience managing or supporting others within a finance team Strong purchase ledger and reconciliation experience Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset The right to work in the UK Why Join?
