Role DescriptionThe EMEA Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Refresh Operations organization, part of Global AML and Onboarding Operations, is hiring an EMEA Unit Manager to support the EMEA AML/KYC refresh for Global Markets and Global Corporate & Investment Banking businesses. Responsibilities include completing KYC/CDD checks and maintaining accurate client records in alignment with Global Financial Crimes standards and applicable laws, rules, and regulations. The Unit Manager will support end-to-end client AML/KYC refresh and work to maintain quality, timeliness, and compliance.

Primary Responsibilities- Oversight and production management of the Refresh team supporting Global Markets and Global Corporate & Investment Banking, ensuring timely and accurate completion of refresh activities.
- Monitor production metrics, SLAs, key controls, and overall process effectiveness.
- Review refresh requirements for assigned jurisdictions in line with CIP/CDD procedures to ensure adequacy and accuracy before sending to the client.
- Support team members liaising with sales/client outreach teams to obtain and validate correct documentation to fulfill refresh requirements.
- Manage the performance and productivity of Refresh Teams.
- Ensure adherence to all jurisdictional regulatory requirements related to KYC.
- Ensure remediation cases are completed within service level agreements.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to identify issues and/or control improvements for remediation.
- Support the business with KYC-related queries and requests.
- Participate in remediation items aligned to internal/external audits.
- Lead and develop managers of teams in all aspects of the AML Refresh process, including career development.
- Contribute to process improvement to identify opportunities for efficiency, effectiveness, timeliness, and quality.
- Proven and robust experience leading operations and production teams
- Strong executive presence and communication skills (oral and written)
- Experience in a process-oriented production environment within a continuous improvement framework
- Ability to work in a team environment, organize work and prioritise tasks, handle multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, and ensure data accuracy/integrity
