Assistant Accountant - Belfast (Interim - 12-Months)

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing organisation to recruit an interim Assistant Accountant for their Belfast site on an initial 12‑month period.

As the successful Assistant Accountant, you will receive the following:

• £44,837 base salary;
• Onsite parking;
• Hybrid (3 days office)/flexible working options – early finish Friday;

As the successful Interim Assistant Accountant, you will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for the following duties:

• Perform period‑end activities;
• Enhance the accuracy of financial information;
• Create, develop and maintain reports;
• Coordinate cost analyses across all contracts;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The successful Assistant Accountant will have the following characteristics:

• 3 years experience in a finance environment;
• Part Qualified/Accounts Technician or qualified by experience;
• Open to industry or practice background;
• Strong communication skills;
• Strong IT skills.
