Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, you will:

• Take ownership of month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review management accounts, journals, accruals and prepayments
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure control integrity
• Support statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
• Liaise with auditors and support year-end audit processes
• Provide financial analysis and commentary to support decision-making
• Identify and implement process improvements within the close cycle
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the wider finance function

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Proven experience delivering month-end and year-end processes in industry
• Ability to hit the ground running in a dynamic environment
• Strong Excel and financial systems experience
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Insurance or financial services experience desirable but not essential
