We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded local business to recruit a Credit Control Manager . This is a key leadership role within the finance function, offering responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact.

The Role Manage and oversee the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt Develop, implement, and monitor credit control policies and procedures Set and review customer credit limits and assess credit risk Lead, motivate, and develop the credit control team, setting clear targets and KPIs Liaise with internal teams (sales, finance, customer service) to resolve account issues Produce regular reports on debtor performance, aged debt, and cash flow forecasts Manage escalations, disputes, and legal recovery processes where required Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies What we are looking for Proven experience in a Credit Control Manager or senior-level credit control role Strong leadership and people management capabilities Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail with strong analytical ability Confidence using accounting or ERP systems and Excel Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines A professional, assertive, and customer-focused approach Desirable Relevant finance or accounting qualification (e.g. AAT, CIMA, ACCA part or fully qualified) Contact Patrick via the apply now button or call
