Markets Operations Belfast Overview:
Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience. A role within Markets Operations means that you will have a truly global reach, in a supportive environment which will provide you with new experiences and development opportunities right here in Belfast’s iconic Titanic Quarter.

- Perform trade verifications to ensure accuracy of booking requests
- Complete settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations accurately and on time
- Coordinate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
- Perform regulatory controls, account reconciliations, and record retention activities in accordance with established policies
- Prepare and submit periodic internal and external regulatory reports
- Adequately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
- Proficient in MS Office packages
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive
- Strong communicator who is articulate and concise
- Strong risk management and control mindset
- Self-reliant, good problem solver, results orientated
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
