Design Engineer; Hybrid

Position: Design Engineer (Hybrid working)
MCS Group is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of innovative, world-leading sensor products. In this role, you will work within a global engineering team, collaborating with cross-functional colleagues and customers to design, develop and launch high-performance products used by leading automotive manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities Lead the development of sensor products from concept through to production launch, including CAD design, prototyping, testing and validation Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and define project plans Collaborate with suppliers to define specifications and ensure on-time delivery and quality standards Partner with global engineering, manufacturing and test teams to optimise designs for manufacturing, assembly and cost Support validation activities with test labs and production lines during product launch Contribute to change management and continuous improvement across existing product ranges The successful candidate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a number of years experience in a manufacturing environment Strong experience using 3D CAD tools and producing 2D engineering drawings Excellent problem-solving, research and teamwork skills Experience in the automotive industry is desirable Join a collaborative, global engineering environment where you will play a key role in delivering advanced products to leading customers worldwide To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Kirsty Dillon Specialist Consultant at MCS Group Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
