Position: Principal/Associate Electrical Engineer (Global Consultancy)

Your new role As a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer, you will take a leading role in delivering multiple medium-large scale building services projects, guiding project teams and acting as a key technical and client-facing oversee all aspects of electrical design delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence, commercial awareness and seamless project coordination. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading electrical building services design across a variety of sectors Producing detailed design calculations, drawings, reports, specifications and schedules Carrying out site surveys and assessing existing installations Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, regulations and health & safety requirements Supporting construction stage duties and collaborating with wider design and construction teams Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior and intermediate engineers Contributing to fee proposals, bids and resource planning Building strong client relationships and supporting directors in workload management What you'll need to succeed Degree-educated in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline Chartered Engineer status (CEng), or actively working towards it Proven experience managing and delivering building services projects from concept to handover Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels Ability to nurture existing client relationships and support business growth Solid commercial understanding including cost control and project financials Experience mentoring junior engineers and supporting team development Strong awareness of sustainability, energy efficiency and emerging renewable technologies Proficiency with relevant digital tools:
