Axial3D is seeking a motivated Associate Production Engineer to join our existing team. This role is central to the production and global distribution of our patient-specific medical models, serving the needs of our international hospital and medical device customers. We have a flexible working environment and hours, designed to support a healthy work/life balance.
Work will include the segmentation of medical images to produce patient-specific 3D anatomical models.

The RoleAs an Associate Production Engineer you will be working on:
- Medical data collection and organization
- User testing Axial3D product and Axial3D insight
- Active engagement in the Quality Management System (QMS) and associated policies and procedures
- Liaising with the customers and satisfying their requirements and user needs
- Providing feedback and input to the company to ensure continuous improvement and development
We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in human anatomy. The role requires an awareness of biomedical physics, particularly as it relates to CT and MRI scanning, and practical experience in CAD/design. Prior experience with medical image segmentation is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided. An awareness of the different 3D printing technologies and their uses is beneficial for this role.
Forthis opportunity, you should have:
A degree or currently studying for a degree in (but not exclusively) Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Radiology, Biomedical Science, Medicine or Anatomy. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working hours:
37.5 per week
Based in a professional modern office located in Belfast Job Types: Full-time Permanent
