Fire & Security Engineer

Northern Ireland (Field Based) Competitive  Overtime  Company Vehicle  Benefits Full-time, Permanent Vickerstock are working in partnership with a growing specialist in Fire & Security solutions to recruit a Fire & Security Engineer. Our client delivers installation, service and maintenance of high-quality fire and electronic security systems across commercial, industrial and public sector sites throughout Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to join a company known for technical standards, long-term contracts and a strong pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities Installation, commissioning and maintenance of:
Fire alarm systems, Intruder alarm systems, CCTV systems, Access control systems Fault diagnosis and repair of system issues Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits Completing service reports and relevant documentation accurately Ensuring all work complies with current industry regulations and standards Providing technical support and advice to customers on site Participating in an on-call rota (where required) What You'll Need Previous experience as a Fire & Security Engineer or similar role Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Experience with a range of manufacturers (e.g. Gent, Advanced, Hikvision, Paxton, Galaxy, Texecom or similar) Good understanding of fire and security industry standards and regulations Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Good communication and customer service skills Full UK driving licence What we hope you will do next;
