Due to the success and growth of our Environment and Planning Department based in Dublin, our portfolio of projects has increased significantly. We now wish to capitalise on this success and build on our ambition by expanding our Environmental and Planning Team. We are currently seeking experienced Environmental Consultants across various levels with at least 4 years post
graduate consultancy/public sector experience to join our established Environmental and Planning Team to play an integral role primarily in the delivery of our licensing related projects (e.g., WWDAs, AERs etc.) but also in the delivery of our planning and environmental deliverables on our diverse large and small infrastructure projects (e.g., water services, energy, ports & harbours, transportation projects etc.).

The successful applicant will report to an Executive member of the Environmental and Planning Team.

• Assist/Manage the coordination, and preparation of Wastewater Discharge Authorisation applications and all associated documentation in line with relevant Environmental Protection Agency and Uisce Éireann guidance documents.
• Assist/Manage the preparation of Wastewater Discharge Licence Annual Environmental Reports.
• Assist/Manage the coordination and preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments, Appropriate Assessments, and other environmental reports.
• Assist/Manage the coordination and preparation of planning applications and licence applications (e.g., MARA MACs & MULs etc).
• Provide technical environmental input to projects, including data collection and analysis.
• Provide environmental and licensing advice to our in-house engineers and clients.
• Assist/Manage the coordination of in-house teams, sub-consultants, and sub-contractors contributing to our projects.
• Assist/Manage the preparation of tender submissions and fee proposals.
• Perform other such duties as may be reasonably required.

• A postgraduate degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIEEM, CIWEM) is desirable.
• A proven track record of the preparation of Wastewater Discharge Authorisation is highly desirable for this role.
• Knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and regulations, including the Water Framework Directive is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the areas of Environmental Impact Assessment and Appropriate Assessment.
• Strong ability to integrate and interpret data e.g., catchment data.
• Excellent attention to detail.
