Capital Projects Lead

Mydas Recruitment are experts in the sourcing and supply of Engineers to leading organisations.

We have an exciting new contract role available, for a capital projects engineer, based in Belfast. The successful candidate will work with multifunctional teams to manage budgets, infrastructure & investing in future technologies.

• Experience from the manufacturing sector
• Preparing installation plans and leading full equipment validation
• Manage stakeholder expectations internally and externally
• Owning the integration and vertical start-up of new equipment
• Ensuring training plans and competency assessments are completed
• Minimising disruption to ongoing operations during integration activities
• Prepare and adhere to project budget
• Build and train the right team for the project
• Efficiently acquire and manage project resources
• Design work plans based on project requirements and team expertise
• Ensuring all equipment meets EHS requirements, international standards, and company policies

• Minimum HNC in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services or Engineering discipline
• Detail-oriented with the ability to create project plans and schedules
• Strong technical knowledge in mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering systems
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office
• Knowledge of H&S compliance, risk assessment, and CDM
