Réalis as a Principal Mechanical Engineer, responsible for leading technical design on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, delivering high‑quality mechanical engineering solutions across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education.

• Lead technical design work on projects, manage budgets, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and bid proposals.
• Successfully manage time and budgets to meet key project milestones and programmes.
• Work closely with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards in design and comply with relevant design standards and codes.

• Chartered Mechanical Engineer.
• Proven experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design teams.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, screens and chemical dosing plants.
• In‑depth understanding of current UK design standards and working practices.
• Strong understanding of legislation such as CDM and ATEX.

This role may require security clearance. Employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require proof of residency in the UK for 5 years or longer.
