Design Engineer

Your New Company A long-established engineering manufacturer in the Ballygawley area, operating internationally and recognised for designing and producing high-quality machinery and automated solutions for the precast and wider manufacturing sectors. Due to continued growth, the organisation is expanding its engineering team and now requires a Design Engineer to join their modern facility. Your New Role As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of bespoke mechanical and automation solutions.

Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you will:
Produce 3D and 2D designs for machinery, assemblies, and components. Support product development from concept through to manufacture. Liaise with production, automation, and fabrication teams to ensure accurate design interpretation. Contribute to continuous improvement and optimisation of machine performance. Provide technical support across multiple ongoing engineering projects. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. This role is open to Junior, Graduate, and Senior level engineers, with tailored responsibilities depending on You'll Need to Succeed Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience with CAD software (Solid Works or similar). Strong mechanical understanding of machinery, automation, or manufacturing systems. Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
