Role OverviewThe IVVQ Engineer is responsible for working with stakeholders to deliver customer equipment that meets integration requirements, verification, validation and qualification of products, systems or components. The role may involve hardware, software or firmware.
Responsibilities- Systems Verification & Validation Reporting
- Requirements capture and management – maturing requirements
- Debugging
- Test documentation authoring
- Define test plans
- Execute integration and validation tests
- Analyse test results
- Test specs creation
- Creation of VVRM
- Acceptance
- Safety requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline
- Systems Engineering: requirements and use case analysis; concept assessment and design trade studies; system architecture design and functional modelling; performance assessment and systems behaviour analysis; verification, validation and certification; model‑based engineering techniques, including MBSE
- Defence sector experience – highly desirable
- Bid management – desirable
- Vehicle experience beneficial from the automotive sector
- Polarian requirements management
- Experience working within systems engineering with an IVVQ role on the left side of the V lifecycle
- Modifications and configuration management
- Project and programme experience – desirable
- Collaborative working environment – working shoulder to shoulder with clients and peers through good times and challenges
