Join our Transportation team as a Fire Project Engineer on a full‑time permanent contract. You will interface with clients, lead delivery of key assignments, and provide strategic direction for fire engineering projects.

Work in the office 3 days per week with ad‑hoc site travel around Belfast.

• Coordinate work with other contractors
• Liaise with route engineers (discipline)
• Design, install, and commission fire systems
• Review fire strategies and engineering solutions
• Assure fire systems (system design, commissioning)
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards, including evidence of passing relevant courses
• Participate in engineering assurance activities to deliver safe and environmentally responsible projects
• Use risk  evaluation methods (e.g., HAZOP, QRA) to evaluate options
• Liaise with project engineers to produce method statements, site works and surveys to required standards

• Experience with codes and standards related to fire systems
• Professional membership or accreditation (CIBSE / IET)
• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Engineering or related discipline
• Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE)
• Chartered Fire Engineer registered with the Institution of Fire Engineers (CEng)
