Sen Teaching Assistant

About the Role

CCS are supporting a well-regarded primary SEN school in Manchester that is seeking a Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role is ideal for a dedicated and experienced TA who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs in a primary school setting. You will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their potential through classroom support and leading targeted interventions.

• Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Lead interventions to improve literacy, numeracy, or social-emotional development
• Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons under the class teacher's guidance
• Support pupils with EHCPs and monitor progress
• Promote positive behaviour and provide pastoral support
• Liaise effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents
• Contribute to extra-curricular and school-wide activities

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience in primary SEN settings
• Ability to plan and lead interventions
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
