This is a teaching role – but with purpose. As a Freelance Essential Skills ICT Tutor, you'll help young people achieve qualifications in digital skills. From online safety to workplace technology, your teaching will equip them for today’s job market.
In this role you will deliver 12 hours of classroom teaching (3 hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) plus an additional paid 8 hours for lesson planning, marking etc at times that suit you.
You’ll:
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned to the Essential Skills curriculum.
- Deliver and assess accredited ICT qualifications.
- Build digital confidence for learners with different starting points.
- Maintain records, safeguarding and compliance standards.
- Support progression into work, training or education.
- Do you have GCSE (A‑C) or equivalent in English and Maths (or Level 2 Essential Skills)?
- Do you have a recognised teaching qualification in line with ES Circular 01/12?
- Have you delivered Essential Skills ICT before?
- Are you passionate about building digital confidence and employability?
