Estimator, Construction

JP Corry, a leading Builders Merchants in Northern Ireland, is seeking an Estimator to join their team in Belfast.

The Estimator will prepare and produce estimates from build plan designs, translating information into the Internal Raptor programme to produce a fully costed material, plant, and labour estimate for customers.

The overall purpose of the Estimator is to work alongside clients and internal support teams to ensure estimates are accurate and profitable.

• Manage estimating for various projects, including extensions, renovations, and new builds.
• Liaise with customers, service teams, sales teams, and local branch teams, demonstrating strong networking and communication skills.
• Respond to technical onsite queries and support issues efficiently.
• Amend estimates and process build reports.

• Construction technical experience within previous job roles.
• Basic knowledge of Build Regulations.
• Experience reading and understanding architectural drawings and structural specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Access, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to work independently and manage own workload.
