The Opportunity

Join the Elevate Programme and build a career in business operations within a major professional services environment. You receive structured training, mentoring, and hands‑on experience in at one of Belfast's most exciting offices, with a clear path to longer‑term career opportunities at the firm.

This particular team will deliver Client Onboarding for one of Belfast's largest companies. Client onboarding sits at the front door of the firm. It is the process of setting up a new client or a new engagement so the work can start safely and on time. It matters because it protects the firm and its clients by ensuring the right risk and compliance steps are taken, the right documents are in the right systems.

In this role, that means you take ownership of engagement requests, complete risk onboarding tasks, track every action in Case Manager, upload risk documents to the relevant systems, and keep stakeholders updated so cases move forward with minimal escalation.

What the Role Involves
  • Complete onboarding and risk tasks accurately and efficiently, with high attention to detail.

  • Follow policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Act as the main point of contact between the Engagement Team and the onboarding team.

  • Record progress and completion of tasks in Case Manager.

  • Upload risk documents correctly, with strong version control and file discipline.

  • Contribute to huddles and ad‑hoc meetings to review performance and KPIs.

  • Share learning and practical tips with colleagues.

A Typical Day
  • Attend a team huddle and confirm priorities.

  • Pick up new cases and progress existing cases in Case Manager.

  • Review documentation, identify gaps, and request what you need from stakeholders.

  • Recognise urgency when you spot issues or concerns. Escalate when required.

  • Update stakeholders on what you completed and what remains outstanding.

  • Capture learning and suggest improvements to the team.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and a process‑led mindset.

  • Clear written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage your own caseload.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate, including active participation in huddles.

  • Confidence working to KPIs for quality and productivity.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, plus confidence in learning new systems quickly.

  • Comfort working across multiple systems, including case management and document tools.
