THE EMPLOYER IS: NUGEN HEALTHCARE We are seeking a motivated and organised entry-level Marketing & HR Support Specialist to join our team. This unique hybrid role provides hands‑on experience in both marketing and human resources, supporting our brand presence in the community while also helping ensure a positive and well‑organised employee experience. This position is ideal for someone starting their career who enjoys working with people, has a creative eye, and thrives in a role with a mix of administrative and communication-focused responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Create and schedule engaging social media posts to increase brand awareness and promote our healthcare services.
- Assist with developing content for newsletters, website updates, and other marketing materials.
- Help maintain brochures, flyers, presentations, and other promotional resources.
- Support community events, and local partnerships.
- Ensure all external communications are professional, accurate, and aligned with our healthcare mission.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and sitting in on staff interviews.
- Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and guiding employees through parts of the induction process.
- Take staff photos for s, create badges, and assist with arranging uniforms.
- Maintain organised and up‑to‑date personnel files and training records.
- Help gather and organise payroll‑related data for processing.
- Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide assistance with basic HR‑related questions and administrative tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers and common office software (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office) - Important to have experience with Excel.
- Internship, coursework, or volunteer experience in marketing, communications, administration or HR.
- Familiarity with social media platforms in a professional or organisational setting.
- Interest in healthcare, community services, or mission‑driven work.
