The Role This position offers a great balance of duties, consisting of roughly
70% Sales Administration and
30% Credit Control. You will sit at the heart of the business, ensuring orders move smoothly while maintaining financial accuracy. A key part of this role involveskeeping track of sales and data on spreadsheets, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable using Excel to keep the office organized. Your day-to-day will involve:
Sales Administration (70%):
Processing customer orders with 100% accuracy, handling inquiries, and maintaining up-to-date spreadsheets to track sales and order progress. Credit Control & Finance (30%):
Managing the sales ledger, conducting credit checks, and professionally following up on outstanding debts to support healthy cash flow. Cash & Banking:
Managing the daily cashing-up process, reconciling tills, and preparing bank deposits.
The Person Our client is looking for a reliable "all-rounder" who is detail-oriented and comfortable switching between administrative and finance tasks. You should have:
Organisational
Skills:
Proficiency in using spreadsheets (Excel) to monitor and track business activity.
Experience:
A background in Sales Administration, Credit Control, or Accounts Receivable. Communication:
The confidence to handle collection calls professionally while maintaining excellent customer relationships. Accuracy:
A "right first time" attitude toward banking, order processing, and data entry. Software
Skills:
