Administrative support Officer, Belfast, £12.21 per hour, Immediate start Your new company An established public sector organisation based in Belfast City Centre is seeking an Administrative Support Officer to join their busy Operations team. This organisation provides essential services to support health professionals and the wider community, operating within a fast‑paced and highly regulated environment. Your new role As Administrative Support Officer, you will provide day‑to‑day administrative support to Team Leaders and management, ensuring all documentation and payment claims are processed accurately and in line with departmental procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:
Inputting, processing and validating payment claims to strict monthly deadlines Maintaining accurate manual and computerised systems Handling telephone and email enquiries from staff, contractors, patients and the public Preparing documents and assisting senior staff with reports and proposals Attending meetings and taking notes when required Providing cover for other administrative colleagues Supporting continuous improvement and contributing to a high‑quality service for all stakeholders This is a full‑time role (37.5 hours per week) based in Belfast City Centre What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have: 5 GCSEs at Grades A–C including English and Maths or NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) plus 1 year’s administrative experience OR Two years’ relevant administrative experience At least 1 year’s experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Experience using a computerised database for data input Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team An understanding of confidentiality requirements What you'll get in return £12.21 per hour Full‑time hours (37.5 per week) Belfast City Centre location Opportunity to gain experience within a large and reputable public sector organisation What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
