Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Receptionist Administrator to join our team. This role is key to creating a positive first impression of Survitec, providing a professional and welcoming reception service while supporting the wider site and business with essential administrative activities.
As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will act as the face of the business, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and that safety, security, and reception standards are upheld at all times.

Key Responsibilities- Provide a professional and welcoming reception service to all visitors, greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately and notifying Survitec colleagues of arrivals
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls, directing enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Maintain telephony systems and building security protocols, ensuring access guidelines and procedures are followed
- Ensure the reception area is clean, safe, and presentable at all times, escalating any safety or facilities issues promptly
- Maintain site directories, meeting room bookings, equipment calendars, and car parking reservations, ensuring meeting protocols are adhered to
- Support local site communications, including visitor boards and public announcements where required
- Support fire and emergency evacuation procedures in line with site requirements
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required
- Promote and role‑model Survitec’s values and contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative working environment
- Actively support a safety‑first culture, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all
- Develop personal capability through training, coaching, and ongoing professional development
- Educated to High School or Further Education level, with a minimum of 4 GCSEs
- 1–3 years of general work experience, with the ability to work under own initiative
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work effectively
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confident working with telephony systems and basic office technology
- Reliable, proactive, and able to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
