We are seeking an organised, proactive and adaptable Business Support Officer(s) to join our team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused services across the organisation.
About the role:
Working as part of the wider Finance and Corporate Services team, you will provide flexible administrative support across the organisation, helping to ensure efficient operations, strong governance and an excellent service experience for clients and stakeholders. This is a varied post offering exposure to a wide range of business functions, including finance, human resources, training, IT, facilities and general administration. Duties are undertaken on a rotational basis, with scope to reflect your skills, strengths and areas of interest.
- Finance administration support.
- Human resources and learning and development admin support.
- Training services admin support.
- IT and telephony services admin support.
- Facilities management admin support.
- GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent) plus at least two years’ experience in a business support role OR at least four years’ experience in a business support role.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team in prioritising tasks, meeting challenging deadlines and displaying high levels of initiative and judgement.
- Key knowledge of business support functions with specific experience in any of the following areas: finance, human resources, IT, training, facilities and/or administrative support services.
- Competency in business software packages and ability to provide ICT support and problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver high quality customer service.
- A business, finance or human resources related qualification for example, GCSE Business or above, CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Experience of collaborative working and in partnership with external stakeholders.
