THE EMPLOYER IS: DEDICATED FITNESSThis is an entry-level customer service role ideal for someone interested in working in a fitness or health-related environment. The role focuses on supporting the day-to-day front-of-house operations, greeting customers, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities- Welcoming members and visitors to the gym.
- Assisting with check-ins and class bookings.
- Answering phone calls and responding to general enquiries.
- Keeping the reception area clean and organised.
- Assisting with basic admin tasks such as filing and stock checks.
- Learning how to greet and interact with members professionally, handle enquiries, and resolve minor issues or direct customers appropriately.
- Reception & administrative tasks gaining experience in handling bookings, answering calls, managing schedules, and supporting daily administrative processes.
- Communication skills developing confidence in both verbal and written communication (e.g. email replies, phone etiquette, and member interactions).
- Time management & punctuality - Learning to manage tasks during busy periods and ensure a consistent front-of-house presence during peak hours.
- IT & Booking systems proficiency training on digital tools and booking software used to manage memberships, classes, and customer databases.
