We are seeking a proactive and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, playing a key role in ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role involves a blend of front‑desk responsibilities, administrative support and engagement with trainees, staff and employers.
Key Responsibilities- Greet visitors and callers, providing a friendly and professional welcome.
- Manage the front‑desk, including directing visitors, handling mail and courier services.
- Answer, screen and route telephone calls in a courteous manner.
- Maintain the reception area and keep related documentation and database up to date.
- Support staff and trainees with information and administrative tasks.
- Enforce security and access procedures as required.
- Grade A*-C in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a busy reception or administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with database systems.
- A minimum Level 3 qualification or above in Business Administration.
- Current driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Applicants should have good organisational, administrative and communication skills, an adaptable personality and an understanding of the particular needs and problems of young people from marginalised backgrounds and/or with disabilities.
Pre‑employment checks will include a Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups (NI) check.
