Practice Accountant

Accounting & Tax Manager North West Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be partnering with a well-established, forward-thinking accountancy practice in the North West of Northern Ireland to recruit an Accounting & Tax Manager . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking to take a senior role with autonomy and a diverse client portfolio.

The Role This is a non-audit position offering a varied and stimulating workload across both accounts and tax. You will manage a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, providing accurate, timely, and commercially focused advice.

Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of statutory and management accounts Managing corporate and personal tax compliance Delivering practical, value-added advisory support to clients Monitoring workflow to ensure deadlines are consistently met Acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for your clients Supporting and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work, and contributing to their professional development Candidate Profile ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience) Proven track record within an accountancy practice Strong technical knowledge across accounts preparation and tax Highly organised, proactive, and confident managing client relationships Experience supervising or mentoring staff is desirable Whats on Offer Competitive salary of £48,000 £ 55,000 (DOE) Performance-related bonus Flexible working arrangements Early finish on Fridays Clear career progression within a supportive team Payment of professional subscriptions Comprehensive benefits package This position is ideal for an ambitious accountant eager to step into a managerial role within a respected local firm that values professional growth, client service, and teamwork .
