Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager - £42,000 - £55,000 Due to continued growth, our client is seeking to appoint a motivated Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager to join their expanding accounts team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Team Manager and play a key role in delivering high-quality services to a varied client portfolio. This position offers excellent exposure, responsibility, and progression within a supportive practice environment.

The Role Preparation and supervision of year-end accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships Preparation of associated tax computations and returns (tax experience beneficial but not essential) Involvement in ad-hoc assignments including client transactions, M&A activity, and finance raising Training, mentoring, and overseeing junior team members Supporting management in coordinating workflow and meeting deadlines Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

The Person ACA or ACCA qualified Minimum 1 year PQE in practice (2+ years for Assistant Manager level) Previous audit experience desirable Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience using Xero, Quick Books, or similar cloud-based accounting software Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Whats on Offer Competitive salary + performance bonus Hybrid and flexible working 1pm finish every Friday On-site gym
