Senior Accountant - Belfast Permanent | Full-time About the Company Our client is a highly respected independent accountancy firm with over 30 years' experience and offices in Belfast and London, supporting a strong network of clients across the UK and Ireland. With high standards, a focus on excellence, and a culture built on trust, clear communication, and consistency, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join their Belfast team.

The Role As Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to clients while supporting and developing junior team members. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and preparing year-end accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships Preparing associated tax computations and returns (tax experience beneficial but not essential) Supporting ad-hoc projects including client transactions, M&A, and raising finance Training, mentoring, and overseeing junior team members Assisting management with organising and prioritising team workflow Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships About You ACCA or ACA qualified Minimum 1 year PQE within an accountancy practice (2 years for Assistant Manager level) Previous audit experience is advantageous Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience using Xero, Quick Books, or similar cloud-based accounting software Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and relevant IT systems Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a client-facing environment What's on Offer Competitive salary Bonus scheme Flexible working and work-from-home policy 1pm finish every Friday In-house gym Strong focus on work-life balance Clear progression and development opportunities Newly extended and refurbished office space Regular social and team-building events CSR initiatives including charity and staff volunteering events Recognition awards Life cover Apply now for more information!
