The successful candidate will receive in house training to grow and develop their skills" About the Job Reporting to the Financial Controller the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties.

Key responsibilities Maintaining and managing purchase ledgers Matching invoices to PO's and converting to accounting software Preparing weekly payment runs for approval Processing weekly payment runs for payment Liaising with suppliers on queried accounts Supplier account reconciliations Bank reconciliations Support month end accounts preparation - mainly around supplier accruals Ad-Hoc reports Previous experience Previous experience working in a busy office environment Hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or Trainee/ Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA) For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Daryl Hunter at HireIQ in complete confidence
