Senior Accountant - Belfast MCS Group are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a well established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Belfast. The Company:

They provide a range of services including Audit, Accounts, Corporate Finance, Tax & Payroll to a wide range of clients across NI, ROI, and the US. Now is a brilliant time to join the company, as they look to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team. The Rewards:
As the successful Senior Accountant you will receive the following: £38k-£48k base salary plus £2k joining bonus;
Bonus based on performance (up to 10%);
On-site Gym Hybrid working (3 days office);

The Role:

As the successful Senior Accountant you will reporting directly to the Manager will be responsible for the following:
Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients;
Preparation of tax computations and returns Ad-hoc advisory projects;
Mentoring junior team members;
Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person :
The successful Senior Accountant will meet the following criteria: ACCA or ACA qualified. Practice experience Prior experience in Audit is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Xero, Quick Books, or similar cloud-based accounting software. Proficient in relevant IT systems, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
