Accounts Technician

ACCOUNTS TECHNIAN, IATI, VAT, TAX, ACCOUNTS, ACCOUNTANCY SUPPORT, ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT Your new company Hays is working exclusively with a growing and dynamic accountancy practice based in the county town of County Down, Downpatrick. The firm is 10 years old and going through a sustained period of growth after recent acquisitions. The firm requires a qualified account technician. Your new role As an Accounts Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the financial operations of our traditional accountancy practice.

Your responsibilities will include:
Bookkeeping:
Recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring data accuracy. Financial Control:
Reconciling accounts, managing financial control records, and implementing necessary revisions. Budget Support:
Assisting in budget preparation, projections, and financial reporting. Compliance:
Adhering to accounting practices, regulations, and policies. TAX administration and the completion of tax returns and compliance. What you'll need to succeed To excel in this role, you should have: A degree or diploma in accounting or a related field. Relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting functions, with two years experience of working in an accountancy practice (Not essential) Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
