We are currently recruiting a Junior Accountant / Trainee for our Belfast office.

• Assisting with a portfolio of clients, supporting the production of monthly, quarterly, and yearly deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Regular communication with clients to ensure deliverables are accurate and timely including responses to client queries.
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly client management accounts.
• Preparation of required tax returns for filing with HMRC including, VAT, corporation tax, partnership tax, P11ds and PSAs.
• Preparation of FCA returns utilising data from the client’s management accounts on a half yearly/quarterly basis.
• Preparation of annual financial statements.
• Liaison with client and their auditors to ensure timely filing of their audited financial statements.
• Coordination with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely delivery of client deliverables.
• Any ad-hoc items required by the team.
• Willing to start a qualification, such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Excel.
• Strong sense of ownership and detailed orientated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid work permit for the UK.
