The Opportunity

We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team as a Lead Provider in our urgent care clinic. Lead Providers act as clinical leaders for all staff, mentoring new‑graduate providers and allied health professionals.

Your Impact
  • Patient‑Centered Care
    • Conduct health assessments, physical exams, and review medical histories to address patient needs.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., x‑rays, ECGs, labs).
    • Perform therapeutic procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing, wound management.
    • Educate patients on health topics, therapeutic regimens, and wellness.
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Prepare clear, complete, electronic medical records and sign all notes in the EMR.
    • Maintain a safe, infection‑controlled environment in compliance with state and company policies.
    • Stay current with legal and professional requirements and advise management.
  • Team Collaboration - Work proactively with other providers and health‑care practitioners to treat patients efficiently and coordinate dispositions.
  • Clinic Leadership - Act as clinic leader when the Practice Manager is not in‑clinic and mentor staff.
  • Continuing Education - Attend workshops, review literature, and participate in professional societies.
  • Preceptor Role - Provide educational opportunities and experiential growth for new provider staff.
Who You Are
  • Education, Licensure, & Certifications
    • Master’s degree and certification by an NP certifying body.
    • DEA license with no restrictions.
    • BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). CPR, ACLS, or online‑only classes not accepted.
  • Relevant Experience – Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care (preferred).
  • Leadership & Mentorship – Willing and able to mentor provider and non‑provider clinic staff.
  • Team Player – Enjoy collaboration and a strong team dynamic.
  • Communicator – Proactive, confident written and verbal communication.
  • Compassionate, Authentic & Patient‑Focused – Demonstrates kindness and fosters belonging.
  • Tech Savvy – Proficient with Microsoft Office and clinical EMR systems.
  • Knowledge – Customer service principles, HIPAA & OSHA regulations, drug knowledge, patient care aids, medical evaluation and treatment principles.
