Maine Health Cancer Care is recruiting for an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to work at Waldo Hospital. This practice includes a comprehensive array of services to support the care of cancer patients in an office/clinic setting located on the beautiful coast of Belfast, Maine. Work as part of a statewide oncology care program—the Maine Health Cancer Care Network (MHCCN) is an integrated cancer care delivery network across the Southern, Coastal and Mountain regions of Maine and eastern New Hampshire.
Designed to provide care as close to home as possible, the network is comprised of 11 hospital partners and provides comprehensive cancer care to more than 7,400 cancer patients annually, including more than 700 cases at the Scarborough Breast Care Center.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, with a Master’s Degree level of education.
- Current Board Certification as a PA.
- Active State of Maine and New Hampshire PA license or eligible.
- Current BCLS & ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 2 years of oncology experience preferred.
